Student Goal Setting - Free Worksheets

PREVIEW

“By recording your dreams and goals on paper, you set in motion the process of becoming the person you most want to be. Put your future in good hands — your own.” — Mark Victor Hansen

Goal setting is a life skill that starts in your classroom.

Here’s a quick guide of how to guide your students in setting and achieving their own goals:

  1. Model the Process: Share one of your goals and how you’re working toward it.

  2. Keep It Specific and Simple: Teach students to set small, actionable goals like “finish reading one chapter tonight” or “help one friend this week.”

  3. Make It Visual: Use a chart or journal where students can track progress and reflect on challenges.

  4. Celebrate Together: Build in time for students to share wins during class meetings or community circles. ðŸ’›
