I've been there, too—caught up in the endless cycle of likes, shares, and perfectly posed pictures. It can be draining, right? We often don’t notice the toll it’s taking until we're deep in the throes of digital overload, feeling more disconnected from our real selves and our real lives than ever.

So, let's talk about it—not to shame or blame (because, hey, social media isn’t all bad), but to shine a light on those subtle signs that our online habits might be tipping the scales away from our mental wellness. And this is an ongoing practice! I have to catch myself when I notice I'm comparing myself to a highlight reel. And consciously remind myself that I'm not seeing all parts of this person - only the good, not the bad, or the ugly. And you'd really never want to trade with them because you have no idea what they might be dealing with behind the screen!


2nd Sign: Restless Nights

We all do it! That mental promise of "just five more minutes" of scrolling before bed, only to look up and realize an hour has slipped by! Or maybe you've experienced the peculiar buzz of your mind after finally setting down your phone, making sleep an elusive friend.
