Some seasons for me and versions of me have been about hustle... but my heart's not really into that this year. This holiday season I am choosing gentleness. So, this week's post & episode of Be Well With Steph, the Podcast is about making a holiday to-do list that brings you JOY.

In the past, I've chosen to take the time of year when everything slows down to spring forward - focus on planning & prepping our goals for the new year, to push forward while others are slowing down.
This year looks a little different for me. I'm inviting in slow & gentle energies.
This is my invitation you YOU, to do the same. I invite you to slow down & enjoy this week, the BEST that you can. <3
I invite you to do less.
To take breaks.
To go to bed early.
To set boundaries in the name of self-love and preservation.
To do less, in the name of making space for MORE.
Here's a thought: What are some of your favorite holiday memories from your childhood?
For me, it was driving around and looking at all the beautiful christmas lights. As kids, my sister and I would always as our parents to drive down the streets that had the best lights even though it wasn't the quickest route. And my dad would always go slow so we could appreciate and take in all of the magic...
And still, driving around looking at christmas lights today brings me so much joy. Something about the electricity and the colors and the way they shine is so palpable to me and it just lights me up!
So... I offer you this: Shine a little light on, this year. Allow yourself the space in the week to do things that light you up. Prioritize the parts of the holiday that make you feel JOYFUL and energized! Don't miss them, in the name of hustle and bustle.
Don't skip the things that are fun for you, because you have things you think you have to do.
What do you want to include this week? Think about it. Give yourself time to breathe & listen to your body & your heart.
