Ever thought you could make your own falafel?! This recipe proves that even the least culinary-skilled can make falafel at home.
Ingredients:
1 can chickpeas
Breadcrumbs
Seasonings: cumin, coriander, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt
water
olive oil
Steps:
Pulse chickpeas in a food processor
Mix with breadcrumbs & seasonings - add slowly, and trust your judgment!
Add water, little by little, until it forms a loose dough
Form into patties in your hands
Fry in a splash of olive oil until golden
Enjoy! Serve with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, hummus, tahini, or by themselves!
