Quick & Easy homemade Falafel!

Ever thought you could make your own falafel?! This recipe proves that even the least culinary-skilled can make falafel at home.



 

Ingredients:

  1. 1 can chickpeas

  2. Breadcrumbs

  3. Seasonings: cumin, coriander, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt

  4. water

  5. olive oil


Steps:

  1. Pulse chickpeas in a food processor

  2. Mix with breadcrumbs & seasonings - add slowly, and trust your judgment!

  3. Add water, little by little, until it forms a loose dough

  4. Form into patties in your hands

  5. Fry in a splash of olive oil until golden

  6. Enjoy! Serve with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, hummus, tahini, or by themselves!
