Sometimes caring about your health can feel very overwhelming, with so much information out there about what’s "right" for you, and what’s not. I recently asked my followers, “What would make it easier for you to stay consistent when working on your health goals?” and one of my favorite responses said, “Reminders that it’s not rocket science!”
While health, and science, and nutrition, are very complex and hold so much information about the human body, when you break it down to simple practices every day to improve your health, it really becomes so easy and attainable.
Take the example of someone with the goal to start eating more vegetables. You could find thousands of complicated “tricks” or “tips” out there that may or may not work for you, or you could do what I do! I simply take any vegetables that I have, and prepare them in the air fryer (you could sauté, throw them in the oven, whatever!) Top them with a sauce that I know I enjoy, and there I am, eating more vegetables!
It doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective.
This applies to all areas of your health, across the board. Unless of course you are dealing with a complicate disease or disorder and receiving medical treatment, your health is not rocket science.
Often times, we think that making positive changes in our health means we have to do a complete 180, a complete overhaul of everything we’ve known and become comfortable with. Well, guess what? Not really.
Looking to get more exercise? You don’t have to sign up for a gym or get a personal trainer - make an effort to put your sneakers on and walk around your house every morning. Want to meditate more? You don’t have to start with a 20 minute meditation every morning. Try starting with 3-5 deep breaths when you wake up, right in your bed.
The key here is small, attainable changes, that easily fit into your life. Again, this is not rocket science! This is not secret, magical advice - It’s encouragement that you can do something small to create healthy habits. After time, these small changes slowly become lifestyle changes. And if you don’t know where to start, simply ask yourself each day “What is one small thing I can do today for my health?”
How I help my clients achieve this mindset
This is something that I do with my 1:1 clients every single day. We take those things that feel like rocket science, and break them down to understand why they may feel so hard. We figure out what the hold ups are, and then we create simple, actionable steps to make that transformation happen for them.
It has now been 2 years since my coaching journey as a nutritionist began, and it has transformed the more I work with clients. As time went on, I found it harder and harder to separate nutrition from everything else: sleep, exercise, relaxation, relationships, the way we speak to ourselves. They are all pieces of the puzzle of you and your health and wellness.
That is why I am transitioning from Holistic Nutritionist to Holistic Health Coach and offering a brand new Wellness Coaching program for 1:1 clients. No longer just about nutrition, but transforming your daily habits and taking control of your well-being. As a gift of love for you guys, this new coaching program is going to be available starting February 14th!
All the info on what it is like to work with me can be found here - you can also book a FREE discovery session, a conversation about what it is that you are looking for, what your goals are, and if my coaching could be a good fit for you.
I would be so excited to talk with you - stay in tune as I continue to share more details over the next few weeks about my new Wellness Coaching Program!

It really boils down to being in control of the daily habits that make you feel good, and taking the small steps over and over and over again to get there. And I can help you do that! What are some of your health goals? I would love to read about them in the comments.
Remember, it is not rocket science. It doesn't have to be complicated to be effective, and you are capable of making the changes you need to live the life you love.
